This is a Remington model 878 These are semi-automatic shotguns that were only produced between 1959 and 1963, This one is in a 12 GAUGE. It's in really good shape for being around 60 years old As you can see in the photos. Where the model is stamped on the side of the receiver it says ( AUTOMASTER MODEL 878 ) the last eight is very light and hard to see, It appears when the model was stamped at the factory it just was not stamped very deep.
