So this gun has surface rust on the receiver as you can see in the pictures, It is not pitted But cosmetically it Definitely needs the receiver refinished. The action on the gun it's super tight, The bore is good. These guns were made in 1971 and this one deserves to be brought back to life, We simply just do not have the time or the person to do it. If you're looking for a good shooter and don't care about the cosmetics then this is the rifle for you, If you're looking for a collector this one is definitely not it.
